With a blend of arnica and ginger, combined with orange flavors, peppermint, cinnamon, cloves and much more, this liqueur is very special. Its mysterious aftertaste gives it its name “Mysterious 21”.

The history of the creation of “St. Benno“ is as interesting as its taste. The name of the liqueur comes from a descendant of the Counts of Wöltingerode, the founding family of the monastery, St. Benno. He was a well-known preacher in Goslar and later bishop of Meissen. According to legends, he protected the cathedral from approaching enemies by locking it and throwing the key into the Elbe River. Weeks later, a fisherman is said to have found the key in a fish, saving the cathedral. The liqueur was named in his honor.
